The first test of the 2 Match Test Series between India and South Africa is begining on Sarurday morning at Nagpur, India.

The results of this series would be helpful in deciding the No. 1 test team. Currently India is already ahead of South Africa with 4359 points and a Rating of 125. Australia has slipped to 3rd place, however it has 4586 point and a Rating of 118.

दूसरे सेमीफ़ाइनल की पहली इनिंग्स के दस ओवर हो चुके हैं, अनिल कुम्ब्ले ने टॉस जीतकर धोनी की टीम को बैटिन्ग के लिये आमन्त्रित किया। धोनी और सुरेश रैना क्रीज पर हैं और स्कोर है ७४/२ अभी दस ओवर का और खेल बाकी है चेन्नई को स्कोर करने के लिये, और जो सवाल इस समय सबके मन मे आ रहा है वो ये कि आज धोनी की टीम चैलेन्जर्स को धोयेगी या खुद धुलकर रॉयल चैलेन्जर्स बंगलोर की टीम को फ़ाइनल खेलेने का मौका देगी।

Update 1: रॉयल चैलेन्जर्स को जीत के लिये १४७ का साधारण लक्ष्य। देखना ये है कि धोनी के धुरन्धर कैसे रोक पाते हैं उन्को यहाँ तक पहुंचने से ! शुरुआत अच्छी हुई है कुम्बले की टीम की और अब तक १.४ ओवर मे एक विकेट पर १७ रन बन चुके है, धोनी की तरफ़ से विकेट लिया है गोनी ने ।

आइ पी एल सीजन 2  के पहले सेमी फ़ाइनल मे पिछ्ले बार की ढक्कन टीम डेक्कन चार्जर्स (Deccan Chargers) ने दिल्ली की टीम Delhi Dare Devis  को ६ विकेट से हरा दिया है। इस जीत का पूरा श्रेय जाता है डेक्कन की ओर से खेल रहे पूर्व आस्ट्रेलिआई ओपेनर-विकेट कीपर Adam Gilchrist को। गिलक्रिस्ट ने पहले सेमीफ़ाइनल मे डेयर डेविल्स के १५३ रनों के लक्ष्य का पीछा करते हुये ८३ रन बनाये और अपनी टीम को जीत की दहलीज पर पहुंचाकर वापस लौटे।

पहले मैच मे हारने के बाद रारा ने अच्छी वापसी की थी, लेकिन पिछले कुछ मैचों मे लगातारा हार से उसकी सेमीफ़ाइनल सीट मुश्किल मे पड़ती नजर आ रही है। आज का मैच अगर चेन्नई  जीतती है तो उसकी स्थित बहुत बेहतर (नं. १) नही होने वाली है लेकिन राजस्थान की अन्तिम चार मे पहुँचने की सम्भावना बहुत कम हो जायेगी।
सचिन और सौरव (भूखानान) की टीमें तो मुकाबले से बाहर हो ही चुकी हैं।

आइ पी एल के ३५ वें मैच मे आज सहवाग की दिल्ली डेयर डेविल का मुकाबला सचिन की टीम मुम्बई इन्डियन से है!

जाहिर है कि आज अगर सचिन की टीम फ़िर हारती है तो वो टूर्नामेन्ट से बाहर हो जायेगी, अभी तक उसके ८ मैचों से केवल सात अंक है और कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स के बाद नीचे से दूसरी टीम है। मुझे पूरा यकीन है कि किसी भी हालत मे आज मुम्बई की टीम ये मैच जीत जायेगी!

Both openers were dismissed in the first over, two more fell before the end of the Powerplay, and there was no final hurrah. Dwayne Bravo and Abhishek Nayar stitched together a 57-run partnership but that too was snuffed out by Delhi’s bowlers before it could really cause damage.
